In Cocoknits Sweater Workshop Julie Weisenberger presents a step by step and easy to follow guide for knitting top down sweaters. The book includes nine different designs. Every sweater begins in the same way at the back neckline, with stitches picked up to form the tailored shoulders and sleeves. Because the rest of the yoke is worked following a colour coded worksheet and using colour coded stitch markers, the knitting is virtually carefree, with almost no counting required.
I particularly like Julie’s way of constructing a sweater with no seaming at all, only picking up stitches. The book is a true treasure chest full of handy tips and tricks.
