If you feel mohair can be somewhat itchy but you still want something snuggly, then look no further: BC Garn Brushed Baby is a GOTS certified brushed super soft babyalpaca yarn! Now that is something exceptional. GOTS certified baby alpaca yarn is still a very rare and precious fiber. Alpacas are usually raised on very small farms in the mountains in Peru. Only very few farms are big enough to be able to afford a GOTS certification process. The spinning mill has helped some farms to get the certification and the people at BC Garn were able to secure the majority of the first harvested GOTS babyalpaca fibre. Due to the fact that up to today there are no GOTS certified dye houses near the mill, there will be only undyed versions.
