With Lazy Linen we’re getting a little bit out of our self-defined limits. This yarn is not certified organic! There’s a reason. We’ve been looking for ages for an all-natural sock yarn that passes the test, and this one does. After wearing our socks many times and after several wash cycles they’re still in good shape.
We’d recommend you needle size 2 mm, just to make sure your knitting is tight enough to make the socks last. If you ask us which type of needles, we will definitely recommend you addiCraSyTrios. That is a personal preference, of course, double-pointed needles or a circular sock needle work fine as well.
The yarn is composed of 80% wool and 20% linen. The wool comes from the Czech Republic, the linen is from Belgium, so the yarn is entirely European. These days that is as local as it gets.
Lazy Linen has a very nice drape. It’s not only for socks, it’s perfect for a nice sweater or a cardigan as well!
